The design of the Plus meeting table is inspired by the famous cruciform steel pillars used by Mies van der Rohe in his Barcelona Pavillon project. The iconic image of the pillar section, which comprises of 4 identical L profiles, is brought to light by simply extending the centric table leg through the plywood panel up until just beneath the table surface. All materials used in the design are hence bundled in a singular point, as a physical manifestation of the central reference point for the activity of exchanging ideas and creation.
