adesso R&D WORKSPACE
Founded in 2013 adesso Turkey, a company offering tailored IT solutions, would then move to its new premises (400 sqm) in Olive Plaza, Maslak. After making a feasibility study among the alternate floors of the plaza, we had to adapt the selected space to the costumer’s needs, without making substantial changes to the existing infrastructure and even the existing partition walls in order to keep the construction costs as low as possible. This approach gave us the freedom to implement higher quality materials for the final fit out project.
The next two years new workplaces for the research and development (R&D) department were constructed, adding up to a total of three floors. The typical floor plan consists of a large open office, compliant with mobile working habits. The main circulation axis is flanked by meeting, project rooms and a seating area. The R&D floor plans differ only slightly from each other, so we designed for each new floor an individual floor cover so that the employees would create associations to their assigned workspace.
After the completion of the first two office floors and the initiation of the research and development center the need for a new administrative floor arised. A few months after the construction of the administrative floor we were asked to design an additional floor for the human resources and the newly established UX&UI department. For the latter we developed individual concepts of carpet tiling, built-in furniture and glass filming.
